In the following, we will explain which data we collect and use and for which purposes: Every time a user accesses an Internet page of our website and every time a file is accessed, data about this process is saved in a log file. These files are anonymous, so we are unable to determine which user requested which data. The following data record is saved for each retrieval of data. - Name of the retrieved file - Date and time of the retrieval - Amount of data transferred - Report whether the retrieval was successful. No personal user profiles are created. No conclusions can be drawn about your identity. We statistically evaluate anonymous information of this type in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it. The data is not passed on to third parties.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
MATOMO/PIWIK
We use the free open source software Matomo (formerly Piwik) to statistically analyse the use of our websites with no personal reference.
HOSTING CYON
We host our website at Cyon in Basel in Switzerland. At Cyon, standard web server log files are created for each access to this website with the following information: IP address, date and time, browser request including origin of the request (referrer), the operating system used, including the version and the browser used, including the language and version (legal basis of GDPR: Art. 6 (1) f with information security as a legitimate interest). The log files are used to identify technical problems, ensure security and to statistically analyse the use of our website with the free open source software AWStats.
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to occasionally amend this Data Privacy Policy so that it complies with the current legal requirements at all times or to implement changes to our services in the Data Privacy Policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new Data Privacy Policy will then apply to your next visit.
